Robert Bloch's "PSYCHO" Book Jacket

It's been a crazy few months, leaving me with very little time to update on progress and new projects. Recently, I began a new job, which has been incredibly fulfilling and really busy in all the best ways. On top of that, my time has been taken up by tons of commission work that I'll be able to share with you in the coming weeks. Some VERY exciting things coming up, so stay tuned! In the meantime, I'll share the most recent.
After the "Hitchcock Re-Envisioned" Set took off on the interwebs, a lot of inquiries/requests for work came in. One, though, that really stood out was an e-mail by the fine folks over at Overlook Press. They'd decided to release a new edition of the book "PSYCHO" by Robert Bloch, that had inspired the classic Hitchock film. Something they wanted to achieve, was bringing this to another level and bringing a different visual impact. They'd come across the work I'd done and thought it'd make a great fit for the new release. And so it happened! I began work on taking the artwork and adapting it for the Book Jacket Design.
A couple months later, to my excitement, I strolled into my neighborhood Barnes & Noble and there it was! The excitement I had to see the work existing in a new setting was overwhelming. If you'd like to buy the book and have your very own copy, Click Here & purchase it online!

After 25 years of illustrating I still get a thrill when I walk into a bookshop and see a book with one of my covers on it. But more than that I love having the excuse to read a book and call it work.
Jackie, I agree whole-heartedly. It's a thrill to see that the work will bring some joy to all of those reading the book. And yea, I have to say, reading manuscripts for upcoming projects is not bad. Not bad at all. :) I look forward to following you and your work.
